Marc

Marc is Partner / Operations Manager for M+BG Creative. He received his Bachelor's of Science in Art and Design at Western Oregon University, many moons ago. For over 15 years, Marc has developed brands for hundreds of companies, including projects for numerous national brands such as Nike, Gardenburger, the Seattle Seahawks, and IHOP, among others.

Although he lives in a pink princess castle (thanks to his 2 young daughters) he finds respite in the dark dungeon below, filled with mystery, intrigue and tales of legend. And a host of manly things that are not pink.

Brian

After a 9-year stint with Klundt Hosmer Design in Spokane, WA in the early 90’s, Brian made the big move to the Portland/Vancouver area, and is currently Partner / Creative Director at M+BG. His 18 years of experience includes projects for clients like Intel, Tektronix, Queen Anne Chocolates, Jeld Wen, and DigiMarc. Nationally, he created the branding for the show “Drive Thru History,” which has been shown on The History Channel International.

Brian has a trained eye and a sharp mind for solutions that get results. He loves to spin Vinyl (not chairs) while playing with his two girls. The reigning king of bad puns, he’ll regularly keep you laughing... or not.

Jeremy aka “Jpop”

J.E.R.E.M.Y. was programmed, not born, by a massive interstellar supercomputer called MULTIVAC.
"Journeying Electronic Replicant Engineered for Mining Ytterbium", or Jeremy, utilizes coffee as his primary fuel source, and requires a constant supply of hot fuel to maintain safe operating parameters. Originally assigned to the Mining Colonies on Mars, Jeremy teleported to Earth after discovering the exciting field of web development. Native humans have dubbed him “JPOP,” as he is always "listening" to contemporary pop musics from Japan. He says it "reminds him of home".

Jeremy's human-technologies comprehension includes XHTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, Search Engine Optimization and many other web-related codes and languages.

He is currently the only Ytterbium Minerbot on Earth, and easily one of the most advanced Minerbots within 30 parsecs of our green planet.

Calvin

Calvin is a fine artist, designer, and man of international mystery. He received a BFA in interdisciplinary arts from a fancy-pants, private art college known as the Pacific Northwest College of Art, where he learned to be comfortable on a computer and in a wood shop. Calvin believes every design problem has a simple solution. However, he would prefer to make the solution even easier by making every logo a white cube (he's a sucker for Minimalism). His education in the field of fine art brings flexibility, creativity, and an attention to detail rarely seen within our species.

Calvin has called M+BG his second home for over 4 years, and still gets a kick out of cracking off-color jokes and watching the faces his co-workers make.
