Fireside Cafe launches in Vancouver, Washington!

One of our clients, Fireside Cafe just opened in Vancouver, Washington at 63rd and Andreson. They have a great selection of cafe food and beverages for a very reasonable price. Marc and I ate there yesterday and it was quite tasty! I especially enjoyed the wood fired over pizza I had! The combined forces of M+BG (Pipe & Tabor and Mind Lightning) helped with the branding and signage. For those still using Internet Explorer 6, please read the below. Yes, we've mentioned this before in a previous post, but one development firm in Denver has taken this to the extreme to make a point: No one should be using IE6 any longer, nor should development companies support it. It is a free download to move to IE7 or 8, or better still... Firefox.

A Recap of last month's M Plus BG Party

You serve the food, and that's what the lovely people from Pacific Perks did. Pacific Perks provided quesadillas and a full espresso bar featuring smoothies. "I had four shots of espresso and a smoothie," raved in-house technology director Jeremy Wilson. The conversations were a delightful pairing with the food and drink. Clients, friends and co-workers all congregated in our home away from home to check what their favorite creative group has been up to. Brian, our vinyl expert, provided excellent hi-fi sound and some classic records. Classic songs like Michael Jackson's "Human Nature" and Steve Miller Band's "Fly Like An Eagle" were featured. The background music provided the soundtrack to Marc's mingling and conversing. It wasn't all friendly though, Chris Faulconer "destroyed and ravaged" Jeremy in foosball. Jeremy may never play again. All kidding aside, it was a great chance to catch up with our clients and prospects, while showing off some of our best print and web graphic design work for 2009.
M+BG wants to thank everyone who attended and made this such a great success! (and would like to express our sadness if you missed out... maybe next time right?).
